Emily Korf has been the sole owner and designer for Elements and Principles since 2007 with the slogan: Affordable Interior Design Solutions. The majority of business that flows through Emily‘s door are kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, custom closets and custom window treatments, but she will also take on smaller tasks such as purchasing furniture, spacial arrangements, and color consultations for interior and exterior. She charges an hourly fee of $85 and most jobs involve a minimum of three hours. She does bill time periodically throughout longer more complex projects such as remodels. As a service to her clients on larger remodels, Emily is a one stop shop taking care of all financial matters for her clients, so clients do not have to keep track of the financial trail! She is open to working with your contractor, and will be as involved or uninvolved as you’d like her to be, but she also has a whole team in her pocket to finish the space you’ve been waiting for.
